The Thinkware F790AIR is a purpose-built connected dash cam that combines Thinkware's proven F790 camera platform with MYCAR™ 2 connected-vehicle technology.

Record the road ahead and behind in Full HD 1080p, while receiving important dash cam event notifications directly through the MYCAR™ 2 smartphone app.

It's an excellent solution for drivers who want more than traditional dash cam recording — with the ability to receive crash notifications and video clips remotely, and optional access to parking-event notifications and on-demand video.

The F790AIR is specifically designed to work with the MYCAR™ 2 ecosystem.

Front + Rear Full HD Recording

The F790AIR provides 1080p Full HD front and rear recording at 30 FPS, giving you coverage of both the road ahead and activity behind your vehicle.

MYCAR™ 2 Connected Dash Cam

This is what makes the F790AIR different from a standard F790.

When properly installed with the required TGM and MYCAR™ 2 hardware, the F790AIR can communicate with the MYCAR™ 2 cloud-connected platform.

Through the MYCAR™ 2 app, you can receive:

Crash Notifications With Video

If the dash cam detects a driving incident, you can receive a notification on your smartphone with a 20-second video clip of the event.

You don't have to be sitting in the vehicle to know something happened.

MYCAR™ 2 currently lists unlimited crash notifications with video as part of its Premium service when used with the F790AIR and TGM.

Parking Event Notifications

With the MYCAR™ 2 Premium Plus upgrade, the system adds parking-event notifications with video.

This allows you to be notified if your parked vehicle experiences a detected event.

Instant View

Premium Plus also provides an Instant View feature, allowing you to request on-demand video from the vehicle and view/download front or rear camera footage through the MYCAR™ 2 app.

Connected Without Traditional Monthly Camera Fees

One of the particularly interesting aspects of the F790AIR/MYCAR™ 2 system is that the MYCAR™ 2 hardware includes a Lifetime Service Plan with the base service, while additional features are available through the Premium Plus upgrade.

Important: The connected features require the appropriate MYCAR™ 2 equipment and installation. The F790AIR camera by itself does not provide remote cloud viewing.

3. Complete Connected Vehicle Package

F790AIR + TGM + MYCAR™ 2 + compatible remote starter

Adds the ability to use MYCAR™ 2 for vehicle functions such as remote start, depending on the vehicle and compatible remote-start system.

Multi-Camera Capability

The F790AIR can also be expanded using the Thinkware Multiplexer.

The multiplexer allows additional cameras to be connected, providing coverage from multiple directions.

The MYCAR™ 2 platform can display the connected camera views, making the system particularly interesting for:
